Full insurance for the leased dairy herd

The dairy cow herd is fully insured under the lease agreement for loss of production in the event of one-off disasters such as flood or drought. Your lease repayments are also fully insured under these circumstances. Herd Equity Release will cover the cost of this insurance.

All diary cows must be insured by the Lessee to their full value. Herd Equity Release will arrange full insurance cover through Marsh Insurance Brokers 0.6% of the value of the cow.

Apart from the standard company insurance, we also include cover for:

Restricted Perils

Covers specified risks of accident, illness, theft, transit and certain diseases

Loss of Production for 30 days from

Imposition of a quarantine restriction
Death or theft

Lost Capital Value from

Slaughter under the Bio Security Act
